I reached retirement with a relatively small income. One thing I do have a lot of is a big passion that I enjoy sharing with anyone interested.

It's my passion and the information and experiences I provide about SKIN CANCER that brought you to this site. I hope you can find what you are looking for.

If you’ve read my survivor story and browsed around this web site you know that giving you information ...and help understanding, recognizing and dealing with skin cancer is what I’m about.

If there's something you can't find here, then contact me anytime with your questions. If I don't know the answer, I'll do my best to find it.

But there’s some other help you might be interested in, especially if your facing or about to face unexpected medical bills, and that is ...picking up a little extra income.

Most people can use that!

So I’m going to tell you another little short story of mine that will answer the question "Why SBI".

You may already know that in 1990 I was diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma. In my story you can see how I survived and started back to work for my brother at Emmanuel Stained Glass Studio in Nashville, TN. (...A little plug for my brother.)

I worked as a stained glass artist/painter and I loved my work. I really did!

My wife stayed home with our new baby girl and son. I gradually worked my way back to “full time” and my regular income was returning.

However like most people, for various reasons which I won’t get into, I started, little by little, getting into DEBT!

I wasn’t `financially savvy` at all!

I know now that I haven't been alone.

Dave Ramsey clued me in to that.

It just so happened that my wife Elena and I were attending the same church he attended in Nashville. Nobody had really heard of him at that time.

He was teaching a Sunday school class called "Financial Peace". We decided to go. If you've never heard of him, just Google his name.

Little did we know that Dave Ramsey would go on and become the top financial motivational speaker at seminars across the country, a number one radio talk show host and a person who has changed thousands of people’s lives, financially.

I did learn a lot from him but it was kind of tough to convince my wife. That’s because I couldn’t tell it like he did. After all, I’ve been an artist and my mind isn’t geared towards finances!

So, as a result, we went on making financial mistakes. We sent our daughter all the way through a private school. ...No regrets there, although we could have made a better decision for her and our financial future as well!

Still no regrets,we see the results. It was just costly and we could have moved to a much better school district and maybe? ..would have got the same results. Maybe we would have been in a better financial position as well.

"Maybe this or that" doesn't count ...living and learning does!

That's all in the past. My point is that we have needed some extra income, as well as many other folks.

Through it all, however,we've been happy!

Through the years while working at Emmanuel Studios, I always have looked for ways to boost my income, as there can be times in the stained glass industry, when work is very slow. And who can't say they can use some extra income?

It was either feast or famine.

It was these "famine" times that motivated me to search for an additional way to have a steady stream of income!

I still had a family to support and bills to pay and I was determined to do just that.

I tried a lot of things, from hauling off people’s trash to starting a part time furniture repair business.

Later on, as I started becoming familiar with computers and seeing how so many people seemed to be making money on the internet, I became very interested.

I remember it as being quite intimidating, yet an adventure and was quite challenging, ..but it all ended up as a BIG CATASTROPHE for me!

I spent THOUSANDS of dollars. That all added up to more credit cards, monthly payments and DEBT!

I was paying for websites and didn’t know what I was doing, …paying for a coach who was telling me nothing that worked, …and paying for a merchant account and never sold one single thing.

Pretty good, huh?

Can any of you relate to this?

I have to be honest and say that when I finally quit all of the above (with much warranted pressure from my wife), I tried Ebay and didn’t lose any money.

That in itself was an accomplishment!

I even made a few dollars. I enjoyed doing that, but I still held it in my mind that I can do better and be successful on the internet.

I just didn’t know how!

Well, years passed by and I did nothing on the web. I knew if I ever tried anything on the internet again, I would need to have my wife on board with me and I just didn’t see that happening very easily.

In the meantime I would still look at different sites and try to learn something from them.

In all my surfing the web I stumbled across some information called The Affiliate Master's Course.

The entire course is downloadable in PDF. It consists of 152 pages and it is FREE!

I downloaded it, printed it out and read every page. I saw how to be an infopreneur, providing valuable information and, at the same time, increase my income as well. It made sense and boosted my confidence.

It was my first real reason for ...WHY SBI?

I tucked it away in my desk and held it in my mind, thinking that if I ever tried the internet again, this was going to be my plan. I just didn’t know if I could ever sell my wife on something like this again.

What really gained my confidence about this is that I could center it around something that I had a passion for and already know a lot about.

Everybody has a passion for something, but may not realize it!

I thought about all the experiences I’ve had battling cancer, skin cancer and my quest to improve my health. That had been my passion for many years and I have always wanted to help others who were struggling with health problems, no matter what they were.

The time finally arrived for me to retire from Emmanuel Studios. My income became far less and I wanted this to be the time I start with the Affiliate Masters Course and SBI.

How did I make it happen?

Here’s how!

I mentioned to my wife briefly the concept of what I wanted to do (contained in The Affiliate Masters Course) and because she thought it was such a worthy idea, she agreed that perhaps I should give it a shot. especially since it was only going to cost $300 a year and it’s a site building program that really delivers. She truly surprised me!

OK! …but still yet, what about the money?

It was a little before Christmas time and she got it in her mind that she wanted to give me the money as a Christmas present to get started.

Well, I didn’t know this and one day she asked if we had $300 tucked away somewhere because she needed to buy some gifts.

I was thinking, Oh man …this is going to be tough.

I didn’t want to do it, ...but she didn’t want to let up either.

You know what happened next, …YEP! WE SCRAPED IT UP!

Then she surprised me again; she gave me the money back and said, “Merry Christmas, this is for you to start this website”.

All I needed now was to buy the SBI program which cost far less than the thousands I was spending in the past.

Before spending the money I read and read all about it because I wanted to be sure. I became thoroughly convinced that I could do this, and even enjoy doing it!

SBI is not just a simple “run of the mill” website building program. I learned the concept of CTPM and that’s what puts the majority of SBI’ers in the top 3% and many in the top 1% according to Alexa’s traffic ranking!

I won’t even try to explain about CTPM here. That’s their job and they do it well.

I just want you to look through my site and see if it doesn’t speak for itself.

I don’t have anywhere near the skills it takes to build a site like this and to be getting the traffic that keeps increasing monthly.

I’ve been doing this all by myself using their Action Guide, Tips and Strategies and Forums. All I supply is the brain power and motivation (BAM)!

There are SBI coaches available but because of my limited budget I am being a total “do it yourselfer.” All I do is use their tools and put my mind and motivation to work. They help with that too!

So I got started and I continue to enjoy it and share information, experiences with skin cancer and health all the time!

So Are We Making Any Money? …a little, but I know that more will come.

I wanted to share this with my readers as many may be in a similar situation.

I’m not trying to follow a "get rich quick" plan …that's not what this is.

As I remember it, the tortoise always beats the hare!

My wife and I have both agreed that it’s worth it to continue this site even if we didn’t get paid. I just get great satisfaction, knowing I'm helping someone, somewhere, whether they ever buy any of my recommended products or not. The information is always FREE!

Ones success depends on C-T-P-M. Add your BAM (Brain – Attitude – Motivation) to this, don’t quit, follow the guide and you’ll succeed.
