Marijuana for cancer patients - 16 US states allowing medical marijuana
The positive effects of medical marijuana for cancer patients is something I’ve taken a closer look at lately. I’ve known for a long time that the use of marijuana for pain can give relief to those who suffer chronically from any pain, nausea due to radiation and various other chemotherapy drugs administered. It has helped terminally ill patients be able to eat again, relieve stress and much of the suffering.
I'll never forget my treatments of radiation, chemotherapy and my surgery. I lost so much weight. Although I craved to have certain foods, my stomach would reject them and I vomited a lot. It was very unpleasant, to say the least, and it tries to knock the very life out of a person. Medical marijuana for cancer patients is something that I would have tried if it would have been legal and available. But unfortunately I would have had to break the law and risk getting in trouble. At my age, having a beautiful family and still looking forward to a future, getting in trouble with the law would not have benefited me at all, on top of all my medical problems. It’s kind of sad in my opinion. It takes an arrogant human being to outlaw the very things that GOD has given us. HE gave us all the fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants and animals and HE also gave us a mind to choose and to have common sense. If a person is concerned about decriminalized marijuana, across the board, for cancer patients and the younger people as well, I say to the parents of the younger ones that they should be educating their teenagers about the benefits found in pure nature and about the dangers of overindulgence in anything. Common sense tells me, anything in excess can turn into a harmful thing. Do you remember reading about the man who died from drinking too much water?
Why is marijuana illegal?Marijuana has long been associated with unfashionable lifestyles that provide little or no benefit to the community. It has also been associated with oppressed ethnic groups. Banning marijuana has been seen as a way of discouraging these groups from developing their own subcultures. When it became popular in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s among the majority-white culture, the government began to lighten up on recognizing it as a threat to the white culture …or perhaps they thought it was becoming too difficult or costly to fight by filling up our prisons with marijuana smokers who have committed no other “crime”. As a result, the penalty for possessing a small amount decreased. Until recent years it has remained banned throughout the U S. Some states have now taken the initiative to make the use of medical marijuana legal. Marijuana for cancer patients and those suffering other diseases is now available under the laws of any state allowing it. The ball has begun to roll and, given time, it will be available in more states. Major opponents to legalizing marijuana for cancer patients are Washington, the FDA and BIG Drug Companies. They stand little to profit by making such a simple, natural cure available, especially when anyone can grow a plant or two in their backyard or home. Some are making lots of $$ at the expense of those who suffer.

The guidelines to be issued by the department do, however, make it clear that agents will go after people whose marijuana distribution goes beyond what is permitted under state law or use medical marijuana as a cover for other crimes, the officials said.”
Buy medical marijuana for cancer patients and those with other chronic, qualifying diseases. If you live in the U S and reside in any of the states allowing legal marijuana, then you may qualify to buy medical marijuana. Besides purchasing in approved dispensaries, many states allow you to grow your own for your own personal use. But remember, buying, selling and possessing marijuana for cancer patients, even in a legalized state, is still a violation of FEDERAL LAW. Marijuana and marijuana seeds can be purchased online and delivered in a stealth manner to your front door, but this is still ILLEGAL UNDER FEDERAL LAW. You could still find yourself in deep trouble. If you feel it should be legalized under Federal Law, then start contacting your representatives.
