You can overcome skin cancer and the treatments!

You can prevent skin cancer.

You can save your life if you can detect it early.

And, even if your cancer has progressed to a later stage, you can relax and make your way through.

I know, mine did and I made it through!

If it hadn't been for the alternative, natural treatments I used to recover from chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, I would not have survived for over 20 years

Relax and make your way through the information, guidance and experiences of myself and other survivors who share their story here.

You can slow down and even reverse this disease. If you've had intensive medical treatments ...you could lessen their side effects and go on living ...a happier, healthier life ...and you could feel and look more vibrant than ever.

It doesn't matter if you're concerned about basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer, metastatic malignant melanoma or a rare type.

You ...yes you ...can do this!

With your existing health condition, you can begin ...now ...to make good educated decisions and take the necessary steps to improve your health for fighting disease.

I'm not going to give you some secret formula (there is none).

It just takes your will to do it and the effort to go with it!

You'll find support and guidance in the words throughout this site. It's all plain facts about skin cancer, researched and common sense information blended together with the experiences of other survivors.

You'll find that much can be learned from the cancer survivor stories others leave here and from those who post comments.

There's still plenty of room for you or a friend to Share any personal experiences you may be having with cancer.

Here's more of what you can expect to find here.

If you've just been told "you have skin cancer." then you may be worried about The Treatments.

I know that was one of my big worries, but it doesn't have to be yours.

You'll find information about the conventional (Western Medicine) treatments to Natural Alternative methods or Complimentary (a blend of both).

You'll learn about the real Causes of cancer of the skin.

Be Aware

Having cancer of your skin seems to be the least feared of all the combined types of cancers ...making it a danger! Out of a lack of fear and awareness, cancers of the skin continue to increase in the U.S. and other Western cultures.

You'll learn what the Risks are and how to protect yourself from the Ultraviolet rays of the sun to avoid OVEREXPOSURE.

You'll see how aggressive Metastatic Malignant Melanoma can be as well as some rare types.

You may begin to realize that there are many people who walk around with this type of cancer in progress that often goes undetected until late Stages. It may be a Mole ...small lump ...a lesion that bleeds and doesn't heal ...maybe a patch of Rough Scaly Skin that slowly grows ...or a freckle that is changing color or getting larger.

Many people ignore these things and think, in time they'll go away.

BIG MISTAKE!

Go see your dermatologist or qualified alternative health professional ...NOW!

Again, Relax! ..knowing much of what you can learn here can save you a lot in the future ...so take another deep breath and be glad I found you here on the internet.

If it is skin cancer or any cancer you're concerned about, I hope to relieve some of the Stress and help you find your way to optimum health.

Skin Cancer critical? Enjoy life? Gary does too!

Gary, the publisher, grew up during the 40’s and 50’s in Massachusetts. Most people didn’t get any type of cancer until they were older. There really wasn’t any focus on good health, prevention and being on an exercise program. Like many, he enjoyed a more active lifestyle.
He spent lots of time in the sun and ate the mainstream American diet. In his 30’s, he began working out at the gym and taking a lot of vitamin supplements.
At age 47, he was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma cancer, head and neck cancer or throat cancer.
This type of skin cancer can grow inside your body, although it originally appeared on his skin.
He was shocked, filled with fears, emotions and questions. “Will I survive?”..He determined YES!
But HOW?
He chose an alternative medicine approach focused on healthy eating/lifestyle with the guidance of several counselors.
However his cancer continued inside his throat and he feared that if it doesn’t stop soon, he may not survive.
At that critical and frightening point, he began to consent with all the conventional treatments the medical doctors were advising; chemotherapy, major surgery, followed by radiation.
The treatments almost killed him and to this day (since 1990) he deals with life-changing  side effects.
Given 5 years to survive, later told 10, he’s been surviving since 1990.
He wants to awaken you to skin cancer and how serious any cancer can be. This site is his  passion to share his experiences and the experiences of others who wish to share their stories.
You can find support, encouragement and help making decisions through him and others as well.
He believes a healthy diet and lifestyle are essential to all healing and prevention.
Gary believes that this should be the first choice when facing disease and conventional medicine as the alternative.
He strongly recommends seeing counselors (alternative and conventional) before deciding on your own.

"MELANOMA : “NO BIG DEAL ” IT'S JUST SKIN CANCER!

Hi! My name is Nick and I’m 56 yrs. old and this is part of my story. Let me tell you, I was like a lot of people out there and I had no idea that skin cancer was anything bad. I had Basal cell back in 2007, but that was no big deal and it was removed and that was the end of that. No one told me that it was a type of skin cancer (I looked it up on my computer). But still no big deal, it would not kill me.
But I did know the word "Melanoma"....." --by Nick
