Join me and tell your skin cancer survivor stories here.
Your skin cancer survivor stories are worth more than you realize for many people who have questions and are wondering what to do if they suspect they may have skin cancer or have just been diagnosed with it.You could have a simple Basal Cell Cancer or basal cell in situ (precancerous). Maybe it’s Squamous Skin Cancer or even Actinic Keratosis (sun damage leading to squamous cell carcinoma). You could even have developed some Suspicious Moles showing Melanoma Symptoms or you’ve already started treatment for Melanoma. If you’re aware of any of these conditions happening on your skin, you may be starting to worry and facing some tough decisions.
How would you like to hear from someone who has experienced the same condition as you and learn what they did and what their experience was like? Just think, it could help you to know what to do and what not to do. You would learn and you could be encouraged! People do find hope and encouragement in these skin cancer survivor stories and …You can be the next contributor. Yes, your little brush with skin cancer …or your serious encounter with a Later Stage Skin Cancer, even a Rare Skin Cancer can help many others throughout the whole world. I noticed, by doing a search for “skin cancer survivor stories”, that there were not a tremendous amount of skin cancer stories available, yet there are many who get skin cancer every year, young and old alike. Imagine the resources people would have if more of us shared our story. I wish someone would have told me their story so I wouldn't have to tell mine. I’ve been in contact with old friends from years past who have experienced skin cancer (sometimes multiple times) and I would love to see them post their experiences with skin cancer. When it comes to any person with such an affliction I don’t try to push anyone into doing something they’re not comfortable doing. I'd rather just encourage someone than make them feel pressured. I simply want anyone like that to know that I find encouragement in their stories, no matter if they are written well or not. There are thousands in this world who would love to hear your story.
I received a cancer survivor story from a man whose struggles began when he was just 5 years old, the latest being skin cancer ...and he continues to survive. I’ve thought many times that the going was pretty tough, but when I read his story I found a life of passion, creativity, hope and encouragement for all who read it. You’ll have to read his story yourself. Just click on this link to step into Grant's world. http://www.battlehillberry.co.uk/MyStory.aspx
Everybody’s story about skin cancer is very important to many people who need to hear YOU and your own personal skin cancer survivor story. If you feel like you don’t write well, don’t worry, I can brush it up a little for you without changing your story. I would have loved to be able to read others skin cancer experiences back in 1990 when my squamous cell carcinoma was diagnosed. So if you have a story, the important thing is that you share it! If you've ever been told “you have skin cancer”, You Have A Story.
